Second Christmas Day
In Slovakia, we call it 'Druhý sviatok vianočný' and it's on December 26th.
For Christians, The 2nd Christmas Day is a day of remembrance of the first martyr, St. Stephen, who was stoned for his faith in Jesus Christ. On this day, the faithful pray and thank God not only for him, but remember all the worshippers who sacrificed their lives for their faith in Jesus Christ. St. Stephen's Day is also a day of social contact. On this day, relatives and acquaintances usually visit each other, many wish the best for the bearers of the name Stephen.
