Christmas wreath

The Christmas wreath is made out of various types of conifers, which symbolise permanent life. The round shape of the wreath, that does not have a start or an end, symbolises the immortality of the soul and the eternal life found in Jesus Christ. Cones, nuts or seeds, that decorate the wreath are the symbol of life and resurrection. All together, it symbolises immortality of our soul and a new, eternal life in Jesus Christ. The four candles represent four weeks of Advent. Light again means Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

People also put the smaller wreaths on their door or the dinner table. Nowadays, you can also find many different styles and types of a Christmas Wreath.
